About the role
Supervise and coordinate daily marine construction activities, including piling, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons, dredging, and related marine works. Lead and manage site crews, subcontractors and marine workforce to ensure safe and efficient execution.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily marine construction activities such as piling, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons, dredging, and related works.
- Lead and manage site crews, subcontractors, operators, and marine workforce to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities meet project schedules, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Marine Superintendents, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues.
- Ensure proper utilization of marine equipment, barges, boats, cranes, and construction resources.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce compliance with HSE requirements and company safety procedures.
- Inspect completed works and report progress, productivity, and site challenges to the project team.
- Maintain site records, daily reports, and work permits as required.
- Assist in planning marine operations while ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Diploma or Technical Qualification in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marine construction projects.
- Proven experience in marine works such as jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons, piling, dredging, and coastal protection projects.
- Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, equipment, and safety requirements.
- Experience supervising multicultural workforces and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans.
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices and marine regulations (preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
