Forklift Operator – Warehouse Material Handling

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to safely move materials within our warehouse and support production operations. The role involves loading and unloading goods, transporting items to designated areas, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely in line with company policies and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and storage locations.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated areas.
• Stack and arrange materials to maximize storage space and prevent damage.
• Verify material quantities and product labels before moving goods.
• Assist with receiving and dispatch activities.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections of the forklift (brakes, tires, forks, lights, horn, battery/fuel, hydraulics, etc.).
• Report equipment defects, accidents, or safety hazards immediately.
• Follow warehouse traffic rules, speed limits, and designated routes.
• Support inventory counts and stock movement as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the forklift and work area.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and other departments for efficient material movement.
• Complete forklift operation logs and material movement records accurately.

Required profile

• Valid forklift operator license/certification as required by local regulations (UAE forklift driving license).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
• Physical fitness to work in warehouse and outdoor environments.
• Ability to work independently and support production stations when needed.
• Basic communication and teamwork abilities.
