Founding Account Executive UAE

About the role

Telnyx is building a private global multi‑cloud IP network and is looking for a founding Enterprise Account Executive to launch its enterprise business in Dubai. You will work side‑by‑side with a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn a named list of 30‑40 high‑value accounts into production customers across the UAE and GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Own a territory of 30‑40 enterprise accounts, focusing on ~10 Tier‑1 accounts with $1M+ annual potential.
• Build executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and business owners and run the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with the Forward Deployed Engineer to design technical architectures, deliver proof‑of‑concepts and launch the first workload.
• Sell outcome‑based solutions such as AI‑driven contact centres, smart‑city infrastructure or connected mobility, not individual product SKUs.
• Maintain disciplined POC management with executive sponsors, success criteria and signed commercial terms.
• Expand accounts by adding additional workloads and grow revenue from $500K to multi‑million‑dollar contracts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in the UAE/GCC, preferably selling CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, telecom or AI/ML solutions.
• Proven track record of closing $1M+ deals and exceeding quota.
• Deep knowledge of UAE enterprise procurement, government contracts and sovereign‑wealth‑fund initiatives.
• Hunter mentality with strong consultative selling and ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with willingness to travel and meet customers on‑site.
