FP&A Analyst

About the role

Join the finance team of a leading education group and play a pivotal role in financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision‑making across multiple schools. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the Annual Budget and Business Plan for all education entities.
• Analyze business performance, forecasts and key financial drivers, delivering insights to business leaders.
• Challenge planning assumptions and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Develop financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses for business cases and investment decisions.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and ad‑hoc analysis using Excel and BI tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
• Partner with finance and business teams to translate data into clear recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance.
• CFA Level 1 is mandatory; progress towards CFA qualification is an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting or a similar analytical environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, curious mindset with confidence to challenge assumptions.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, scenario analysis, data analysis).
• Experience with BI/reporting tools.
