About the role

Kitopi is looking for a friendly, attentive, and efficient waitress to join its restaurant team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers as they arrive.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on customers throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle complaints or special requests with patience.
• Process payments (cash, credit cards) and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer‑service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a team‑player mindset.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
