About the role

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out procedures, handling guest inquiries, and creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the standards of a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and escort VIP guests with personalized service when required.
• Perform efficient and accurate check‑in and check‑out procedures, process room assignments, upgrades, special requests and handle payments, deposits and foreign‑currency transactions.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transportation and dining options, and maintain strong knowledge of hotel products and promotions.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, Security and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve inquiries, requests or complaints promptly.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and records in the Property Management System, balance cash floats and complete daily financial reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in front office, guest services or reception within a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to anticipate guest needs.

Required skills

• Opera PMS or similar hotel management system.
• Microsoft Office applications.
