Front Desk Manager – Healthcare

About the role

The Front Desk Manager will lead the reception and patient services team in a busy healthcare clinic in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure smooth patient flow from registration to checkout while delivering a high‑standard, patient‑focused experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the front desk and reception team.
• Oversee patient registration, appointment scheduling, check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Lead, supervise and support front‑desk staff to maintain high service standards.
• Handle patient feedback, complaints and service recovery promptly.
• Coordinate with clinical, billing, insurance and administrative departments.
• Monitor front‑desk KPIs, attendance, performance and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures and healthcare standards.
• Support initiatives to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in front‑desk, patient services or reception management within a healthcare setting.
• Fluent Arabic speaker.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Proven experience handling patient concerns, complaints and service recovery.
• Good understanding of clinic workflows and the patient journey.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, insurance and other departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with healthcare or CRM systems.
