Front Office Supervisor – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Front Office Supervisor leads the front desk team during each shift, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. You will act as the primary point of contact for arrivals, departures, and any guest concerns, upholding the brand’s standards of warmth and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front office operations throughout the shift, guaranteeing smooth guest journeys from check‑in to check‑out.
• Lead, coach, and support front desk colleagues to deliver personalised, attentive service.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback, and complaints, taking ownership of service recovery.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations and other departments to ensure seamless experiences.
• Monitor performance, provide guidance, and conduct handovers between shifts.
• Support room upselling and other revenue‑enhancing initiatives.
• Apply hotel emergency procedures and safety policies as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in front office or guest services, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field is advantageous.
