Frontend Engineer (React Native & React.js)

About the role

The Frontend Engineer will design and build secure, high‑performance mobile and web banking applications for a leading fintech provider in the United Arab Emirates. You will work with React Native, React.js and modern front‑end tooling to deliver customer‑facing digital journeys that meet strict regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native mobile banking apps for iOS and Android, ensuring scalability and high availability.
• Build responsive web applications using React.js, Redux, Context API and modern CSS/HTML techniques.
• Integrate front‑end solutions with REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect authentication, and enterprise micro‑services.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects and backend teams in an Agile environment.
• Apply secure coding practices, mobile security controls (certificate pinning, OWASP Mobile Top 10) and performance tuning to meet banking compliance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes and automated testing for continuous delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end engineering experience, including at least 3 years with React Native.
• Background in banking, financial services, digital channels or fintech with knowledge of regulatory and security requirements.
• Proven experience working in large‑scale Agile and DevOps environments.

Required skills

• React Native, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
• HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Context API, React Hooks.
• REST and GraphQL API integration, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT authentication.
• Mobile application lifecycle management for iOS and Android.
• Git, CI/CD, DevSecOps practices.
• Performance tuning, mobile optimization and responsive design.
