Full Professor – Robotics & Computer Engineering

About the role

Khalifa University’s College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for a full‑professor position in the Department of Computer and Information Engineering. The successful candidate will lead research and teaching initiatives in core and emerging areas of robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics, computer, and information engineering.
• Establish and manage a vibrant research program, securing external funding and supervising graduate students.
• Provide leadership within the department and contribute to university‑wide strategic initiatives.
• Foster collaborations with industry partners and promote technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
• Proven track record of obtaining and managing funded research projects.
• Experience supervising graduate students and leading research teams.
• Strong publication record in top‑tier journals (Q1) and conferences.
