Full-Time Governess / Early Years Educator for 3‑Year‑Old in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a warm, caring and highly educated Governess/Early Years Educator to support the development and learning of a 3‑year‑old child in Dubai. The position combines nurturing childcare with a structured educational programme, focusing on cognitive, language, social and motor development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate educational activities, including Montessori‑inspired tasks.
• Support language and communication development through conversation, storytelling, reading and interactive play.
• Encourage vocabulary growth, fine and gross motor skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Introduce early concepts such as numbers, colours, shapes, letters and pre‑literacy skills.
• Read books daily to foster a love of reading and promote independent play.
• Develop social skills, turn‑taking and positive behaviour through guided play.
• Prepare the child for nursery/KG1 and future school routines.
• Maintain a consistent afternoon routine and keep simple records of activities and progress.
• Organise and tidy educational materials after use and assist with light snack preparation when required.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Early Years or Special Education.
• Previous experience working with children aged 3‑5 years.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and language stimulation.
• Warm, patient, nurturing personality with excellent English communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• References and verifiable childcare experience.
