Gaming Arcade Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Gaming Arcade Maintenance Technician ensures that all arcade and bowling equipment operates safely and efficiently, delivering a seamless experience for guests. Based in Dubai, you will be responsible for minimizing downtime through timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on arcade games, simulators, bowling lanes, pinsetters and related equipment.
• Install new machines, handling wiring, connections and calibration.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections to identify hazards or wear.
• Respond quickly to technical issues reported by staff or guests, including after‑hours emergencies.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations and company policies.
• Support overall arcade operations as directed by the Arcade Supervisor and Operations Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 4‑5 years of experience as an arcade or bowling technician in an amusement setting.
• Strong knowledge of arcade game mechanics, bowling alley systems and electronics.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle after‑hours emergencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Use of diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
