GenAI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI use‑cases for a global data, AI and digital transformation consultancy based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves defining agent profiles, designing architecture, and ensuring successful production rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of one or more AI use‑cases from design through UAT sign‑off.
• Make architectural decisions on agent graph topology, confidence calibration and human‑in‑the‑loop thresholds.
• Mentor junior AI Engineers and act as escalation point for complex LangGraph, LLM and evaluation challenges.
• Identify potential failure modes early and drive adoption of new AWA capabilities across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to negotiate HITL thresholds and regression testing regimes.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Proven ability to design and implement embeddings, vector search and data/document ingestion pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic AI design patterns and multi‑agent orchestrator systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
