General Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a General Accountant to manage our financial records with accuracy and timeliness. The role will support the finance team in daily accounting tasks, month‑end close, and reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record all financial transactions accurately.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash balances.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with month‑end close activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and system automation.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to resolve financial issues.
• Assist with tax compliance and regulatory reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
