General Accountant – Multiple Industry Positions

About the role

PROTOCOLSONE, a diversified business group in Dubai, is seeking three experienced General Accountants to manage the financial operations of three distinct companies under its umbrella. Each role is on‑site, full‑time, and requires end‑to‑end accounting expertise with industry‑specific knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping using Tally, Zoho Books, SAP or QuickBooks.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Handle UAE VAT (5%) calculations, filing and reconciliation, and ensure compliance with the 9% corporate tax regime.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support annual external audit documentation.
• Process payroll in line with MOHRE WPS requirements.
• Industry‑specific duties: manage SaaS subscription revenue and deferred revenue (Software Sales), reconcile physical gold inventory and monitor market price hedging (Gold Trading), oversee import/export paperwork, customs duties and LC documentation (General Trading).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance; CA, ACCA or CMA semi‑qualified is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of core accounting and finance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple entities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP or QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Bank reconciliation and audit preparation.
• Payroll processing under UAE labor regulations.
