General Engineering Role – Hotel Maintenance

About the role
The Engineering function is responsible for the maintenance and planning of hotel facilities, ensuring full availability and serviceability while minimising guest disruption. The role oversees repair work, preventive maintenance, reconstruction projects and the implementation of emergency recovery plans.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out all operational engineering tasks in line with service standards and procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on hotel assets and supervise repair and reconstruction work.
- Develop and follow functional emergency recovery plans.
- Proactively communicate with team members to protect guest interests.
- Prevent guest complaints and manage service recovery when needed.
Required profile
- Minimum certification in Maintenance Engineering or a related technical field.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a similar engineering role within a 5‑star hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance for hotel assets.
