General Foreman - Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

This General Foreman position covers construction site supervision in Abu Dhabi, overseeing civil, structural, architectural and MEP works. The foreman ensures work follows approved drawings, specifications and schedules, while coordinating with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil, structural, architectural and MEP works and monitor daily labour productivity and subcontractor workforces
• Maintain site discipline and enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager and site engineers to meet project milestones
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and identify delays, bottlenecks and resource shortages
• Take part in site meetings with consultants and subcontractors
• Ensure work complies with QA/QC plans, standards and Abu Dhabi authority requirements, inspect workmanship and report non-conformance issues
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and briefings, and monitor unsafe conditions
• Maintain daily logs, manpower and equipment records, support as-built drawings and handover documentation, and help document RFIs, variations and change orders

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical diploma; a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering is a plus
• 10 years of construction site supervision experience
• At least 5-7 years of experience on UAE/Abu Dhabi projects
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, high-rise or infrastructure projects
