General Insurance Claims Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Insurance Claims Officer to independently manage complex Property & Casualty claims from notification through settlement in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Manage General Insurance claims end‑to‑end, including investigation, assessment, negotiation and final settlement.
• Review policy wordings, conditions and exclusions to determine liability and coverage.
• Critically evaluate loss adjuster reports, challenge deductions and under‑insurance issues.
• Negotiate with insurers, adjusters and surveyors to achieve fair and timely settlements.
• Identify recovery and sub‑rogation opportunities and provide technical advice to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on General Insurance claims handling experience.
• Previous work in a loss‑adjusting firm or insurance claims department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, AIII or FIII are highly desirable.

• Ability to manage multiple complex claims under tight deadlines.
