About the role
We are seeking an experienced General Insurance Officer to manage underwriting, quotations, renewals and policy issuance for Property & Casualty insurance classes in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Handle insurance quotations, renewals, policy issuance, endorsements and related transactions.
- Review and analyse proposals, risk information, policy terms, warranties, exclusions and deductibles.
- Negotiate competitive quotations, premiums and terms with insurers.
- Prepare comparative quotation analyses and insurance proposals.
- Coordinate with insurers, clients and internal departments to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in General Insurance underwriting.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACII, AIII or FIII are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or claims handling is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
