General Manager

About the role

From The Arabs, a luxury Emirati fragrance house, is seeking a General Manager / Head of Operations to build the operational foundation and scale the brand. Reporting directly to the founder, you will translate the brand’s vision into structured processes and drive day‑to‑day execution across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations across all departments, ensuring smooth coordination between operations, marketing, logistics and customer experience.
• Design, implement and continuously improve operational systems, workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and development of the team, fostering a culture aligned with brand values.
• Manage business licensing, legal documentation, compliance and relationships with external partners such as government entities, accountants and suppliers.
• Supervise inventory, fulfillment, warehousing, packaging and supplier coordination, guaranteeing operational readiness for launches and seasonal demand.
• Translate founder’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans and support scaling initiatives, partnerships and expansion.
• Identify operational gaps, propose solutions and contribute to long‑term organizational planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, general management or business leadership.
• Background in luxury retail, hospitality, consumer brands, fashion, beauty or fragrance, preferably in founder‑led environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities with a track record of building systems and improving operational structures.
• Excellent organizational and commercial awareness, with hands‑on problem‑solving skills.
