General Manager – Middle East (UAE)

About the role

Our client, an international safety technology business, is seeking an experienced, commercially‑driven General Manager to lead its Middle East operations from the United Arab Emirates. The role oversees the regional commercial, service and operational functions and is responsible for delivering the next phase of growth for an established customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance of the Middle East operation, including commercial, service and operational teams.
• Develop and implement a clear strategy for sustainable regional growth, aiming to double turnover in the coming years.
• Manage distributor and channel‑partner networks, driving revenue growth through partners and distributors.
• Oversee service, support and warranty functions to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Senior commercial leadership or general‑management experience in the Middle East, with strong knowledge of the UAE and Gulf markets.
• Proven success delivering regional revenue growth through distributors and channel partners.
• Experience selling technical products or systems into industrial or safety‑critical markets.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary commercial and operational teams with strong numerical and strategic capability.
• Hands‑on, decisive and emotionally intelligent leadership style.
