General Manager – Nightlife Venue

About the role

The General Manager leads the full operation of SAYF, a high‑energy nightlife venue in Dubai. This dual‑mandate position combines full P&L responsibility with the personal management of the venue’s VVIP and entertainment network.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and variance tracking against targets.
• Drive revenue through minimum spend management, VIP/table allocation, bottle‑service margins, covers and average check.
• Build and nurture a personal network across Dubai’s hospitality, entertainment and VVIP circles, overseeing acquisition and retention of top‑spend guests.
• Lead the entertainment programme end‑to‑end: book DJs and talent, manage production and align the calendar with cost and revenue goals.
• Oversee the pre‑season relaunch: re‑hire and retrain staff, renegotiate supplier terms and rebuild the VIP and entertainment calendar for a fully booked September opening.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, inventory and service standards, translating guest feedback into continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour law, Dubai Municipality, DTCM requirements, liquor licensing and entertainment permits, conducting regular internal audits.

Required profile

• Proven senior management experience in hospitality or nightlife venues with full P&L accountability.
• Strong personal network within Dubai’s VVIP, hospitality and entertainment sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute revenue‑driving strategies.
• Experience in hiring, training, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of UAE regulatory and licensing requirements for venues.
