General Manager – Sales (Enterprise Technology)

About the role

This senior country leadership position is responsible for driving commercial growth, market strategy and operational performance for a leading international technology organization in the UAE. The General Manager – Sales will lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional team and shape the business across both public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the UAE commercial and go‑to‑market strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Lead country sales performance, revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting and market expansion.
• Provide leadership across cross‑functional teams to ensure strong execution, accountability and operational excellence.
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with major enterprise customers, government entities and senior decision‑makers.
• Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships and revenue streams across technology, software, services and enterprise solutions.
• Oversee country‑level business planning, budgeting, performance management and commercial governance.
• Build a high‑performance leadership culture focused on collaboration, customer value, employee engagement, compliance and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in enterprise technology, ICT, software, cloud, digital solutions or technology services.
• Proven experience leading a sizeable sales organisation with major revenue targets, budgets and commercial performance.
• Strong track record of selling complex B2B technology solutions to enterprise, government and public‑sector clients in the UAE.
• Experience developing software, services, recurring‑revenue or solution‑led business models.
• Established relationships with C‑suite executives, senior business leaders, government stakeholders and strategic decision‑makers in the UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary and matrixed teams through growth, transformation or organisational change.
• Relevant academic qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
