General Manager - Sports Bar

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027, is looking for a General Manager for its Sports Bar within the Food & Beverage team. The resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah and will include 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, a beach club, a five-star spa and a shopping promenade.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including service, culinary, people and financial performance.
• Drive top-line revenue while controlling costs, labour productivity and maximizing profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop department heads and team members to build a performance-driven culture.
• Collaborate with culinary and bar leaders on menu development, promotions and guest personalization.
• Analyse guest feedback, operational KPIs and financial metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure consistent service and food quality standards, and full compliance with health, safety, licensing and hygiene regulations.
• Manage inventory, equipment and resources, and prepare and present regular operational and financial reports.
• Supervise scheduling, training and POS system operations, design training programs and write operating procedures.
• Support sustainability and recycling initiatives, and regularly coach, motivate and evaluate team members.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role in a casual dining environment.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-end or luxury restaurant is required.
• Proven track record of P&L accountability and operational efficiency.
• Ability to lead teams in high-volume, high-expectation environments.

Required skills

• Strong financial literacy and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
