General Pharmacist UAE National

About the role

PureHealth is seeking a qualified General Pharmacist who is an UAE national to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, effective medication therapy for patients across our integrated healthcare network.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for safety, appropriateness, drug interactions, allergies, duplications and omissions.
• Interpret orders for clarity, accuracy and patient suitability; suggest formulary alternatives when needed.
• Prepare, compound and dispense both sterile and non‑sterile medications, including pediatric doses, IV admixtures, TPN and chemotherapy.
• Conduct final checks on prepared products and maintain accurate medication records.
• Provide patient counseling on proper medication use and manage narcotics/control‑drug storage and inspections.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to promote cost‑effective medication use.
• Respond to medication‑related queries, incidents and adverse drug reactions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid pharmacy license.
• Strong knowledge of drug safety, regulatory standards and sterile compounding practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork and patient counseling.
