General Practitioner – Arabic Speaking (University Campus)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner fluent in Arabic and English to provide comprehensive primary healthcare to students, faculty and staff at a leading university in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering clinical care, managing emergencies and promoting health and wellbeing across the campus community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Respond to medical emergencies and deliver urgent care as needed.
• Promote preventive health through education and wellness programs.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with DOH regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health of the university community.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent degree.
• Valid DOH license as a General Practitioner.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in the UAE.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in university or school medical centres preferred.
• Background in emergency, pediatric or medical centre settings.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
