Healthpoint, a multi-specialty hospital based in Abu Dhabi serving patients from the UAE and around the world, is seeking a skilled, patient-focused General Practitioner Dentist. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general dental care across preventive, diagnostic and restorative services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of common dental and oral health conditions.
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive dental care, including oral health education and counseling.
• Carry out general dental procedures within the approved clinical scope of practice, such as restorations, simple extractions, periodontal care and other routine treatments.
• Interpret dental imaging and diagnostic findings to support clinical decisions.
• Identify cases needing specialist intervention and refer them promptly.
• Manage dental emergencies and provide initial treatment and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinical, regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Follow infection prevention and control, patient safety and quality standards.
• Work with dentists, specialists, dental assistants and nursing teams to coordinate patient care.
• Take part in clinical audits, continuous professional development and quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry, Dental Surgery or an equivalent recognized dental qualification.
• Valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner Dentist in Abu Dhabi.
• Relevant clinical experience in general dentistry with demonstrated competency in routine diagnostic, preventive and restorative procedures.
• Strong knowledge of current dental practices, infection control and patient safety standards.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
