General Studies (Arabic) Faculty Role

About the role

The General Academic Requirements Division seeks a qualified faculty member to teach and develop courses in Arabic studies. The role combines classroom instruction with research integration to enhance students' analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Arabic language, linguistics, translation, or related subjects.
• Design and update curriculum to ensure industry relevance and alignment with international academic standards.
• Integrate educational technology into teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
• Support students in developing soft skills and workplace readiness.
• Contribute to the division’s research agenda and bring research insights into classroom instruction.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Arabic language, linguistics, translation or a closely related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in fostering soft‑skill development and workplace readiness.
• Experience using educational technology in curriculum design and delivery.
• Additional master’s qualifications in Business, Communications or Social Sciences are a plus.
