Apt Resources is seeking a General Technician to join a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel on the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The role involves maintaining all technical systems to ensure flawless operation and guest safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to keep equipment at optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to support smooth operations.
• Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance.
• Proven experience as a general technician in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
