About the role

Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel is seeking a reliable General Technician HVAC to ensure the smooth operation of all facility equipment and systems. You will be the backbone of our maintenance team, handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing domains.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical manuals, drawings and analytical skills.
• Execute repairs while strictly following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues and maintaining organized documentation.
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and time spent.
• Adapt to new technologies and continuously expand technical skill set.
