General Technician – Tile

About the role

We are looking for a skilled General Technician specialized in tile work to join our hotel team. You will be responsible for creating high‑quality tiled surfaces across guest rooms, public areas and service zones, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability.

Key responsibilities

• Install tiles on floors, walls and countertops following design specifications.
• Prepare surfaces, cut and shape tiles, and apply adhesives and grout.
• Maintain stock levels of tiles, adhesives, tools and related materials, ordering supplies as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and hotel safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to tile maintenance or repairs.
• Participate in task‑force teams for new hotel openings and other special projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in a mechanical or electrical field.
• Minimum three years of experience performing tile installation in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to high quality and safety standards.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and operational manuals.
