Genetic Research Scientist – R&D

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Genetic Research Scientist to join our expanding R&D team. The role focuses on cutting‑edge genetics and genomics research, including GWAS and polygenic risk score development, with the aim of publishing peer‑reviewed findings and delivering clinically relevant insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and contribute to Genome‑Wide Association Studies (GWAS) and related genetic analyses.
• Develop, validate, and apply Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS) where appropriate.
• Analyse and interpret complex genetic and genomic datasets using statistical genetics methods.
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, abstracts and other scientific materials for publication.
• Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay up‑to‑date with developments in genetics, genomics, and statistical genetics.
• Collaborate with clinical, scientific, data, and R&D teams on research projects.
• Maintain high standards of scientific integrity, documentation, and data interpretation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology or a related field (PhD preferred).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in genetic, genomic or biomedical research.
• Proven record of publishing peer‑reviewed research.
• Hands‑on experience with GWAS and development or application of PRS.
