Global Category Manager - MRO

About the role

The Global Category Manager – MRO will lead worldwide category management for Maintenance, Repair and Operations, focusing on leveraging OEM spend to deliver value, reduce risk and support operational reliability across Tronox sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global MRO category strategies aligned with procurement and business objectives.
• Aggregate OEM spend, standardize where appropriate, and identify strategic supplier opportunities.
• Analyze spend, demand, supplier, inventory and market data to prioritize sourcing opportunities and conduct total cost of ownership analyses.
• Lead cross‑functional sourcing projects from definition through execution, managing budgets, timelines and risks.
• Partner with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse and Supply Chain to balance cost, asset availability and inventory levels.
• Execute the Source‑to‑Contract process, including negotiations, contract award recommendations and implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement or category management experience, preferably in equipment, maintenance or technical industrial domains.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to develop supplier strategies that reduce risk.
• Advanced data analysis capability to translate spend and market data into actionable strategies.
• Proven stakeholder management across executive and operational levels and experience leading change initiatives.

• Proficiency with procurement tools such as SAP.
