Global Marketing Director

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Global Marketing Director to own the end‑to‑end marketing funnel, diversify acquisition channels, and drive a qualified pipeline across multiple territories. You will partner closely with sales leadership to meet pipeline targets and ensure a seamless handoff.

Key responsibilities

• Own marketing‑sourced qualified pipeline and blended cost per acquisition by territory.
• Reduce dependence on any single acquisition channel so no channel contributes more than one‑third of the pipeline.
• Define messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation across markets.
• Lead a team of ~20 professionals in demand creation, capture, web, content, design, and field marketing.
• Build a single territory‑level measurement layer covering spend, leads, SQLs, and CAC.
• Collaborate with product and sales to design and launch targeted campaigns.
• Manage the self‑serve funnel, paid search, and paid social hands‑on.
• Develop brand initiatives that lower acquisition cost or protect pricing.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning a performance‑marketing P&L at scale with direct accountability for CAC.
• Track record of diversifying acquisition channels and reducing channel concentration.
• Experience running demand generation across multiple countries, including launching new markets.
• Leadership of 15+ marketers through restructuring, role changes, or exits.
• Background as a VP of Marketing, CMO, or equivalent senior role in a technology organization.
• Hands‑on experience building measurement layers (attribution, cohort analysis, geo‑testing) and using data to reallocate budget.
• Success selling to SMEs or founders in a high‑velocity, low‑to‑mid ACV environment.
