Government Relations Officer (UAE & Qatar)

About the role

The Government and Regulatory Officer supports the Manager and the team in handling requests and queries from courts, police, public prosecution and other authorities across the UAE and Qatar. The role ensures that all cases are processed accurately, compliantly and within agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Process UAE Court Orders according to approved procedures.
• Handle Qatar Court Orders and law‑enforcement agency requests within defined SLAs.
• Manage police letters and enquiries across all UAE emirates.
• Respond to Public Prosecution and CID correspondence in the UAE.
• Maintain and reply to email inboxes from government entities and stakeholders.
• Execute case processing through the Velocity‑MOFT system where applicable.
• Ensure all correspondence complies with regulatory instructions and internal policies.
• Monitor, coordinate and follow up on assigned cases to achieve timely closure.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with internal departments (CIBG, RBG, Operations, Head Office) and external regulators.
• Perform other duties as assigned by line management.

Required profile

• UAE national with strong understanding of UAE and Qatar legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work under strict procedures, SLAs and internal policies.
• Excellent coordination skills with branch managers, unit heads and internal departments.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of handling confidential information securely.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using the Velocity‑MOFT case management system.
