Graduate – Information Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Graduate to join our Information Security team at Al Ghurair Giga. The role provides hands‑on experience in protecting the company’s information assets through the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and assist in investigating and responding to incidents.
• Support security assessments, access reviews, vulnerability management and compliance audits.
• Help develop, maintain and review information security policies, procedures and standards.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness and education initiatives across the organisation.
• Maintain security documentation, reports and evidence required for audits.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to improve the security of systems, applications and data.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, industry trends and new security technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Internship, graduate programme or relevant professional experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
• Basic understanding of security operations, risk management and security technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation or SC‑900 are an advantage.
