About the role
WSP in the Middle East is looking for an Emirati National graduate mechanical engineer to join its Dry Utilities Design team in the UAE. This role offers hands‑on experience on major infrastructure projects with mentorship from senior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Support design and documentation of dry utilities systems and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare drawings, design calculations, reports and specifications under supervision.
- Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs.
- Research and assist in developing innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.
- Review local authority regulations and ensure design compliance.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and maintain project documentation.
Required profile
- UAE National with a valid Family Book.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interest in utilities design and infrastructure projects.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of design software such as Revit.
