Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP Middle East is looking for a motivated Emirati National Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its Building Services team in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering experts on innovative and sustainable design solutions for high-profile regional projects, within a global consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior engineers with technical tasks, basic calculations, data analysis and documentation preparation.
• Assist in project coordination, attend meetings and contribute to project progress updates.
• Help develop drawings, models and reports under guidance, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Follow established engineering standards, safety procedures and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate professionally.
• Engage in continuous learning and training to build foundational engineering skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (higher GPA preferred).
• Previous internship experience in MEP/Building Services or a related engineering discipline is highly desirable.
• Strong interest in a multidisciplinary environment and a passion to learn, grow and collaborate.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Emirati National with a family book (mandatory).
