Graduate Trainee – Forensic Audit (UAE)

About the role

The FutureX Graduate Trainee Programme is a 12‑month accelerated development journey designed for ambitious Emirati graduates. As a Graduate Trainee in the Internal Audit Team you will support forensic audit assignments, develop investigative skills and gain exposure to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct forensic audits referred by the Senior/Director of Forensic Audit and the designated Whistle‑Blowing officer.
• Prioritise assignments based on forensic criteria and workload as directed by the Director of Forensic Audit.
• Carry out investigations professionally and timely using information from whistle‑blowing channels, management, or other sources, following the Forensics Methodology.
• Plan audit assignments, defining objectives, scope and audit approach.
• Follow up on agreed action plans with business owners to ensure proper implementation.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate findings clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Issue memos, closure reports and summary presentations to executive management via the Director of Forensic Audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with relevant accounting courses or certifications.
• Strong analytical abilities and prompt identification of critical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Effective planning, organising and work‑management capabilities.
