Graduate Trainee Program – Engineering Leadership

About the role

The National Graduate Trainee Program is an 18‑month development pathway designed to prepare high‑potential UAE nationals for first‑line supervisory positions within EGA. Graduates will rotate through key departments, receive on‑the‑job training and develop both technical and leadership competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a one‑month familiarisation in the assigned department to understand core functions.
• Undertake on‑the‑job training aligned with the target supervisory role for the remaining period.
• Participate in technical skills workshops and management/leadership development programmes.
• Work closely with an assigned mentor and attend regular progress review meetings.
• Demonstrate competency in engineering processes and safety standards.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a family book.
• Maximum of 2–3 years of experience; fresh graduates are preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechatronics).
• Strong motivation to develop supervisory and leadership capabilities.
