Group Legal Director

About the role

The Group Legal Director will lead the legal function for Anton Oilfield Services Group, ensuring robust corporate governance and compliance across all jurisdictions. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with business units to support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the group’s corporate governance and partnership framework to guarantee compliance and effectiveness.
• Plan, execute, and monitor major strategic projects such as M&A, restructuring, and equity investments, including risk assessments of partners.
• Conduct comprehensive legal risk management, compliance reviews, and develop risk control systems covering international, company, securities, and contract law.
• Provide legal support for oil and gas transactions, creating complex transaction structures that align with corporate interests and mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law or a related field with a recognized legal qualification, preferably licensed in major international jurisdictions.
• Minimum 8 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in legal management within the energy sector or large conglomerates.
• Deep knowledge of corporate governance, holding‑company structures, and the ability to coordinate legal affairs across multiple business levels.
• Proven ability to lead complex transaction design, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
