Group SOC & Systems Senior Manager

About the role

We are a leading independent telecoms infrastructure company operating across nine high‑growth markets in Africa and the Middle East. Reporting to the Group Director of SOC & Systems, you will lead the transformation of a distributed, multi‑market NOC into a digitally enabled Smart Operating Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the standardisation of multi‑OpCo NOC operations into a unified Smart Operating Centre model.
• Embed governance frameworks, escalation discipline and audit‑trail compliance across all markets.
• Integrate RMS, ServiceNow, ERP, ICCP and workforce‑management platforms to create a single operational view.
• Strengthen incident‑management processes, improve MTTR and ensure SLA‑driven operational excellence.
• Enhance real‑time telemetry utilisation, alarm‑to‑action automation and predictive‑analytics capabilities.
• Manage cross‑market stakeholders and third‑party field service partners without direct line authority.
• Improve uptime engineering, energy optimisation and fuel governance across site portfolios.
• Establish clear accountability frameworks, KPIs and operational value metrics such as truck‑roll reduction and fuel efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in infrastructure or mission‑critical operations, including NOC, SOC or control‑centre environments.
• Proven experience leading multi‑country or multi‑site operational environments.
• Strong expertise in real‑time telemetry, alarm environments, incident management and SLA‑driven operations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical issues into financial and business impact for senior executives.
