About the role

The Guest Service Officer – Reception will be the first point of contact for guests at Sofitel Dubai Downtown. You will ensure a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience while delivering the high standards of service expected from a 5‑star luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly, manage arrivals and departures, and handle all front‑desk inquiries.
Process check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, and key handling in line with hotel procedures.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Assist guests with special requests, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Maintain the front‑desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.

Required profile

Diploma or degree in hospitality or Rooms Division.
2 to 5 years of experience in a front‑desk or guest service role within a hotel.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Professional appearance and a courteous, service‑oriented attitude.
