Guest Service Officer – Russian Speaker

About the role

The Guest Service Officer is the first point of contact for guests at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai, responsible for delivering warm, professional service throughout the stay. This role focuses on seamless check‑in/check‑out processes, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring memorable experiences for Russian‑speaking visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately, including room assignments, registration, billing and payment processing.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and complaints, providing effective resolutions and service recovery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, loyalty programmes and local attractions to advise guests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Operate Front Office systems, maintain guest records and perform cashiering duties such as cash handling, foreign currency exchange and billing reconciliation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English and Russian is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Previous front‑office or guest‑service experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Opera PMS (advantageous).
