Gypsum Carpenter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gypsum Carpenter to join our construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing gypsum board systems across a variety of interior fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install gypsum boards, drywall partitions, false ceilings, wall linings, and bulkheads according to project drawings.
• Fit metal framing, studs, tracks, channels, and ceiling suspension systems.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fix gypsum boards, ensuring accurate alignment and dimensions.
• Perform joint taping, filling, sanding, and finishing to achieve smooth, high‑quality surfaces.
• Construct decorative gypsum features such as ceiling designs, lighting coves, and curtain pockets.
• Install access panels and prepare openings for MEP services.
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, and other site teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Gypsum Carpenter, Gypsum Installer, or Drywall Installer.
• Good knowledge of gypsum board, false ceiling, partition, and metal framing systems.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate site measurements.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when required.
• Experience in UAE/GCC construction or interior fit‑out projects is an advantage.
