Handover and Snagging Officer

About the role

The Handover and Snagging Officer ensures that newly developed properties meet the company’s quality standards before they are handed over to clients. This role involves inspecting finishes, coordinating defect resolution, and guiding clients through a seamless handover experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of finishes, fittings, M&E installations, and plumbing to identify defects and snags.
• Compile detailed snagging lists and track remediation with contractors and internal teams.
• Perform follow‑up inspections to confirm that all issues are resolved before client handover.
• Attend client snag inspections and handover appointments, addressing inquiries and providing status updates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate snagging and handover reports, including photographic evidence and signed client documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property inspections, quality assurance or handover within construction or real estate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with contractors.
