Head Nurse

About the role

The Head Nurse leads the nursing team at Safari Mall Clinic, ensuring safe, effective, and patient‑centred care across the unit. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing daily operations and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure safe, appropriate, and effective care for all patients in the unit.
• Determine nursing interventions based on assessment data and prioritize identified needs.
• Coordinate overall clinical activities of the unit when acting as charge nurse.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor on staffing and shift planning.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time clinical records and perform advanced nursing skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing nursing teams.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the relevant UAE health authority.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to influence change, make decisions, and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for clinical documentation.
