Head of AI Expansion

About the role

We are looking for a Head of AI Expansion to drive global adoption of Tether’s AI ecosystem, focusing on QVAC and decentralized, privacy‑preserving AI infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on business development with deep technical knowledge to build strategic partnerships worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage enterprises, institutions and governments to deploy local, sovereign AI solutions and build compelling business cases.
• Negotiate, structure and close large‑scale AI partnerships, covering compute, hardware and infrastructure providers.
• Define and execute the global go‑to‑market strategy, prioritising markets, industries and high‑value AI use cases.
• Recruit, lead and manage a worldwide AI Expansion team, setting KPIs and commercial processes.
• Represent Tether AI in strategic meetings, conferences and government forums to position the company as a partner for AI sovereignty.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in AI, enterprise technology or technology business development.
• Proven track record of originating and closing large enterprise AI deals.
• Strong relationships with senior decision‑makers in enterprises, tech firms or governments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience building and leading high‑performing teams in fast‑moving environments.
• Degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
