Head of Cyber Security

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior leader to define and execute its cyber security strategy across the enterprise. Reporting to senior management, you will shape security governance, protect critical assets, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the cyber security strategy, standards, and governance framework.
• Lead infrastructure security engineering to protect systems and networks.
• Establish and oversee vulnerability management, including assessments, patching, encryption, and controls.
• Govern the Security Operations Center (SOC) and ensure 24/7 monitoring and incident response.
• Manage cyber security incidents, investigations, root‑cause analysis, and improvement initiatives.
• Assess cyber risks, implement mitigation measures, and support Business Continuity Management.
• Develop, review, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• Build and coach a high‑performing cyber security team.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to embed security in digital transformation projects.
• Promote security awareness, innovation, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GIAC or equivalent.
• 7–9 years of progressive cyber security experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
