Head of Developer Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Developer Experience to own how developers discover, understand, integrate with and build using our products and APIs. This founding leadership role will create the function from scratch, defining strategy, standards and tooling while collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Developer Experience function from the ground up, shaping strategy across documentation, advocacy and community.
• Create best‑in‑class API documentation, quick‑starts, SDK guidance, code samples and interactive resources.
• Introduce developer‑tooling, docs‑as‑code workflows and standards that can scale.
• Lead, mentor and expand the existing DevRel team, driving future hiring.
• Turn developer feedback into actionable insights for Product and Engineering.
• Grow an active developer community through content, events and advocacy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Experience, Technical Writing or similar, including leadership experience.
• Proven track record of building or scaling a developer‑facing function.
• Strong partnership skills with Product and Engineering teams.
• Ability to move between big‑picture strategy and hands‑on execution in a fast‑moving environment.
